Panda-monium!

Another incredible day. The Chendu panda reserve is amazing! The weather was cool so the pandas were active and it was not crowded. Since the 2008 Chendu earthquake, there is only one panda reserve here. The other one was in the mountains close to the epicenter and was destroyed.

After walking around and seeing the different age groups of pandas up close, we made a donation to support the panda reserve so that each of us could hold a baby panda! Well, the panda we held was almost as big as Lian so she sat next to him. The rest of us had a turn with a 7 month old baby panda on our lap! They limit the number of people who can do this each day, so we were glad to have the opportunity. Those panda pictures are on a camera and we cannot easily download and post them now. Below are a few pictures from my iPhone from when we were walking around.
